Chastain Fitzgerald currently leads PSI’s New Business Development Department, International Organizations Department and PSI/Europe. She is also responsible for the rollout of PSI’s new web-based accounting system to country platforms. Chastain joined PSI in 2001 as a country representative in Togo, then Uganda where she oversaw the expansion of their respective social marketing programs and new products and services development. Prior to joining PSI, Chastain worked as a Foreign Service Officer in Israel for the U.S. Department of State and served as a consultant for the Population, Health and Nutrition Sector at the World Bank. She has also worked in Zambia and Mali on reproductive health, malnutrition and HIV/AIDS prevention programs. Chastain received her Masters in International Public Health and Development from George Washington University.
