Dr. Gilbert S. Omenn has served as a Director of the Amgen, Incorporated since January 1987. Since September 1997, he has been Professor of Internal Medicine, Human Genetics and Public Health at the University of Michigan. From September 1997 to July 2002, Dr. Omenn also served as Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs and as Chief Executive Officer of the University of Michigan Health System. From July 1982 to September 1997, Dr. Omenn was the Dean of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Omenn is a director of Rohm & Haas Co. and Armune BioScience, Inc.
