Benefits
PSI is committed to providing our employees with excellent benefits,
including health, dental and disability insurance, generous leave, a
pension plan and an optional retirement savings plan.
| Health and Dental Insurance: |
| PSI provides full health and dental coverage to employees and
their dependents or qualified domestic partners, at no cost to the
employee. |
| Paid Leave: |
| Each PSI employee is eligible for 15 days of vacation, 11 holidays,
and 5 days of sick leave per year. Employees begin to accrue leave
immediately on their date of hire. For each year of service, the
employee gains an additional day of vacation per year (capped at
25 days per year). |
| Disability and Life Insurance: |
| Employees receive life insurance coverage, as well as short- and
long-term disability coverage. |
| Retirement Savings Plan: |
| Employees are eligible to participate in a 403(b)(7) Voluntary
Retirement Savings Plan from date of hire. |
| Pension Plan: |
| After one year of consecutive service, employees begin to benefit
from a generous pension plan to which PSI contributes on a yearly
basis. |
| Health Club Membership: |
| PSI will reimburse employees for 50% of their health club membership
fees, up to a maximum of $500 per year. |
| Transportation: |
| From their date of hire, employees may enroll in our Metrocheck
program, allowing them to buy Metro Rail fare cards with pre-tax
dollars. |
| Flexible Spending Accounts: |
| Employees may enroll in payroll deduction plans to pay for health
care and/or dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars. |
| Smoking Cessation: |
| PSI will help pay for approved programs designed to assist employees
who wish to quit smoking. |
| Fulfillment: |
| The work we do makes a tangible and measurable improvement in
the lives of low-income people throughout the world. We know that
we are making a difference in the fight against AIDS, malaria, and
child mortality. The feeling of true accomplishment at the end of
the day is the most important benefit of working for PSI! |
Overseas employees may receive additional benefits, such as post
allowance, post differential, housing and educational allowances, R&R,
and home leave.
