Hongmei Yang is a specialist in the areas of quantitative analysis, biostatistics and epidemiology. She earned both MD and MPH degrees from Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China, and a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Hongmei is the recipient of a Fogarty Fellowship at the Yale University Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, and a post doctoral fellowship at the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer. Hongmei has authored over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals both in English and Chinese.
