Julie Archer focuses on building internal capacity to understand and use DALYs and other health metrics, coordinates the Interdepartmental Metrics Working Group and provides other technical support. She earned her Master of Public Health in December 2009 (Global Health with a focus on epidemiology) at The George Washington University and has a BA in English (Canadian) literature from the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining the Research & Metrics Department, Julie was a consultant with PSI’s International Organizations Department. Previously, she worked at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Geneva. Julie speaks French and is learning Spanish.
