Julius is a Research Associate for ACTwatch. He conducts data analysis for the project and assists with the production of survey reports. Julius also provides technical and backstopping support to ACTwatch countries by assisting in the development of study materials, training of fieldworkers, and ensuring quality assurance during data collection. For more than six years, Julius has assembled a wide-range of experience in malaria programming and research. Previously, Julius has worked with The Mentor-Initiative, Kenya Red Cross and Kemri-Wellcome Trust Research Program. Julius is a Public Health Nurse/Mid-wife qualified with a BSc in Nursing Sciences, Moi University, Kenya. His immediate central research interest includes understanding the accessibility, volumes, and pricing of Artemisinin-based Combination Therapies (ACTs) within the private sector.
