Katia has a rigorous academic background in public health research, along with strong professional experience in monitoring, evaluation and operations research in global health and international development. She has worked throughout Asia and Africa, and has expertise in a variety of health areas due to her experience in health systems strengthening. Prior to joining PSI, Katia was a ME&R Adviser for IntraHealth International in Chapel Hill, NC and provided research support to IntraHealth’s East African HRH/HSS projects. Katia earned a PhD in Global Health from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia and an MPH from George Washington University.
