Prior to joining PSI, Marc was the Coordinator for the Food Security and Livelihoods Sector of Save the Children's Cyclone Nargis Response in Myanmar. Marc also worked as a freelance consultant for two years in Myanmar, conducting formative research on health-seeking behaviours, drug-use and sexual risk practices and evaluating harm reduction programs for IDU. Prior to working in Myanmar Marc worked at the Free University in Berlin, Germany where he investigated the impact of drug economies on local patterns of governance in border communities of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Marc was also the Manager of a Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Unit within an integrated rural development programme in Afghanistan between the years of 2002 - 2005.
