Tanya is responsible for coordinating ACTwatch by providing programmatic and managerial oversight to the project. Ms. Shewchuk has more than eleven years of experience managing malaria control activities and other public health programs mainly in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Previous to PSI, she was responsible for the Malaria Control Program for UNICEF Somalia which involved LLIN distributions, introducing ACTs and conducting operational research. Ms. Shewchuk has also worked for MSF as country director in several countries. She holds an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
