PSI/Haiti launched in 1989 to ensure access to affordable health products and services and to promote safe sexual behaviors. PSI/Haiti’s condom social marketing programs reach Haitians across the country through traditional and non-traditional outlets. In recent years, PSI/Haiti has strengthened its ability to reach marginal populations through a distribution network that covers most districts in the country and includes partnerships with local NGOs and faith-based organizations. Since its inception, PSI/Haiti has sold more than 100 million male condoms and almost 300,000 female condoms. It also has established programs in family planning, safe water and child survival, malaria, HIV prevention and voluntary blood donation.
