A PSI network member, Association de Santé Familiale (ASF), is one of three Principal Recipients managing the implementation of the Global Fund Round 8 Malaria Grant in coordination with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP). PSI/ASF’s challenge: distribute nearly 9.5 million long-lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets (LLINs) in three provinces in the Democratic Republic of Congo: Bas Congo, Kasai Occidental and Kasai Oriental.

Moving such a considerable quantity of nets was a massive undertaking. This brief outlines the challenges faced in reaching PSI/ASF’s goal of LLIN distribution in the DRC.
