The Pan-America Social Marketing Organization (PASMO), a member of the PSI network, focuses on a range of key populations, including people living with HIV (PLHIV), through its USAID-funded Combination Prevention Program since 2010. The program offers a package of interventions, including behavior change communications (BCC) and referrals to reproductive health, HIV/STI and counseling services. This presentation discusses findings from an HIV combination prevention evaluation. The presented study aims to describe a comprehensive picture of PLHIV in Central America, including factors that are critical to the success of HIV prevention among PLHIV, as well as to evaluate the midterm effectiveness of the BCC component.
