As the program assistant for the Sexual, Reproductive Health & TB team, Alexandra provides support for a department with ongoing projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America. In particular, she supports the Women’s Health Project and the Support for International Family Planning Organization Project.
Prior to her work at PSI, Alexandra was a Research Assistant with the George Washington University’s Aligning Forces for Quality project, which aimed to raise the quality of health care in 16 key communities in the United States. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine, where she coordinated HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and education projects. Additionally, Alexandra ran seminars aimed at educating girls about gender based violence and female and sexual health.
Alexandra is currently working toward her master’s in Public Health from the George Washington University, with a concentration in Global Environmental Health.
