As the program coordinator for both the Family Planning & Reproductive Health, and the HIV & TB teams, Alexandra Angel, M.PH., provides programmatic and technical support for a department with ongoing projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In particular, she is responsible for supporting PSI’s Quality Assurance systems, which monitor and support Quality Assurance activities for projects providing long-acting contraceptive method services and delivery.
Prior to her work at PSI, Alexandra was a research assistant with the George Washington University’s Aligning Forces for Quality project, which aimed to raise the quality of healthcare in 16 key communities in the United States. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine, where she coordinated HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and education projects; and ran seminars aimed at educating girls about gender-based violence and female and sexual health.
Alexandra holds a Master of Public Health from the George Washington University in DC, with a concentration in global environmental health.
