As technical advisor for reproductive health, Amanda provides technical assistance to country programs.
Amanda has over 18 years experience in global reproductive health. Prior to her work at PSI, Amanda supported and managed reproductive health programs in Brazil, Nepal, India, Vietnam and Cambodia with Ipas, and she served as reproductive and maternal health policy advisor for USAID. She also facilitated the implementation of the Preventing Postpartum Hemorrhage Initiative in Mali, Benin and Ethiopia for IntraHealth. Most recently, she co-authored and edited several reproductive health curricula for use in low-resource settings, on topics that include clinical mentoring and reproductive health services for young women.
Amanda holds a master’s in public health from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, focusing on health policy and administration. She also holds a master’s in health economics from Erasmus University.
