As vice president of corporate partnerships and philanthropy, Colleen serves as the strategic and operational lead for the Maverick Collective, an innovative philanthropic and advocacy initiative of PSI to end extreme poverty by investing in girls and women. She oversees a team of programmatic, communications and philanthropic experts in identifying new champions for girls and women, supporting them to become effective advocates, and bringing new resources and voices to the issues.
Colleen was formerly Vice President and Director of Business Development for PSI, a role in which she developed and executed a strategy that raised over $1.9 billion during the four years of her leadership. Since joining PSI in 2007, she has provided leadership and technical expertise to country programs in Africa, Asia and Latin America in designing new programs and raising new resources to end extreme poverty. Before PSI, Colleen led business development at Partners for Democratic Change and managed programs to improve electoral systems in Anglophone West Africa at the International Foundation for Election Systems. She holds a master’s degree in international development from American University. Colleen sits on the Board of Directors for PSI Europe, PSI Zimbabwe, and YTH.
