As associate director for PSI’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Tuberculosis Department, Dana directs a $135 million women’s health project, implemented in 15 countries with a focus on family planning.
Dana has 16 years of international development experience in health-related fields and an expertise in management of health development and social marketing programs with a focus on women’s health.
Previously, Dana managed a $100 million family planning and maternal/child health program in Pakistan. Her technical expertise includes strategic program development, franchising and service delivery, health communications and advertising, sales and distribution, financial management, and research and evaluation. Her project management experience includes an $80 million multi-donor malaria control program in Kenya and the management of health programs in maternal and child health, diarrheal disease and safe water, maternal and infant nutrition, and tuberculosis.
Additionally, Dana has three years experience in international relief work in post conflict countries.
Dana holds a master’s in public health from Harvard University.
