As managing director for PSI/Europe, Douglas oversees PSI’s European Bureau based in Amsterdam. Prior to his current role, Douglas served as Vice President for PSI’s Southern Africa region. He has also served as PSI’s Country Representative in Haiti and Madagascar. In addition, Douglas worked as Deputy Director of the USAID-funded AIDSMark project. Prior to arriving at PSI, Douglas worked at the World Bank, the Peace Corps and was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Benin. Douglas has a master’s in international economics/social change and development from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor’s in government and philosophy from Lawrence University.
