As senior technical advisor in reproductive health marketing and communications, James focuses on interpersonal communication and provider behavior change communication, as part of the Women’s Health Project, a USD $100 million project implemented in 15 countries with a focus on safe abortion and long-acting family planning.
At PSI, James has previously worked as senior East Africa marketing technical advisor, senior global marketing technical advisor in South Africa, deputy director of PSI/Romania and country director of PSI/Albania and Kosovo.
James has sixteen years of marketing and advertising experience with PSI, the world’s largest social marketing organization, and at the world’s largest private sector advertiser, Procter & Gamble. His expertise lies in designing and executing effective social marketing campaigns and behavior change interventions. At Procter & Gamble, James was advertising advisor and media manager, and trained more than 1,000 advertising personnel on media planning best practices.
James received a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from Ohio University. He also speaks Bulgarian.
