As senior technical advisor in reproductive health marketing and communications, James focuses on interpersonal communication and provider behavior change communication as part of the Women’s Health Project, a USD $135 million project implemented in 15 countries with a focus on family planning and safe abortion.
At PSI, James has previously worked as senior East Africa marketing technical advisor, senior global marketing technical advisor in South Africa, deputy director of PSI/Romania and country director of PSI/Albania and Kosovo.
James has sixteen years of marketing and advertising experience at the world’s largest social marketing organization, PSI, and at the world’s largest private sector advertiser, Procter & Gamble. His expertise lies in designing and executing effective social marketing campaigns and behavior change interventions. At Procter & Gamble, James was advertising advisor and media manager, and trained more than 1,000 advertising personnel on media planning best practices.
James received a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing from Ohio University. He also speaks Bulgarian.
