As technical advisor for malaria and child survival at PSI, Katie works across health areas as the area focal point for behavior change communications.
Before joining PSI, Katie worked with Save the Children’s Technical and Operational Performance Support (TOPS) Program as well as the Academy for Educational Development’s Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance (FANTA) Project. Katie lived in Mali for four years, serving in the Peace Corps where she focused on maternal and child health initiatives and working on a community health project with Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs.
Katie holds a master’s in public health in communications and marketing from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s in communications from Marquette University. She also speaks French and Bambara.
