Social media is just one tool in ignite’s arsenal which serves to bring care closer to adolescent girls and young women in five countries across the globe. Ignite is sparking change at every level – both from supply and demand sides – so that young people can easily access contraception and abortion services.
The ignite project is funded through a strategic partnership between PSI, Triggerise and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights, and runs from 2016 to 2020.
In Cote d’Ivoire, Haiti and Mozambique, PSI takes a market development approach to examine market failures and address root causes of why Sara doesn’t get the healthcare she needs, when and where she needs it.
In India and Kenya, Triggerise works to develop Tikosystems, which are ecosystems to improve the linkages between her and the different market actors by growing the networks of providers, business and micro-entrepreneurs connected in the ecosystems via mobile phones.
With the launch of Ignite’s new resource page, you can access our annual reports, technical briefs, videos, and Triggerise’s resources as well. Follow us on our market development journey at psi.org/ignite.
