Business leader,\u00a0<\/span>physician, feminist and change agent<\/span>\u00a0-<\/span>\u00a0Dr Mosima Mabunda\u00a0<\/span>is the\u00a0<\/span>Head of Wellness at Discovery Vitality.\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>he is responsible for\u00a0<\/span>developing\u00a0<\/span>innovative wellness programmes to fulfill Discovery\u2019s core purpose to make its members healthy<\/span>, as well as driving\u00a0<\/span>thought leadership<\/span>\u00a0et\u00a0<\/span>les\u00a0<\/span>research agenda for the<\/span>\u00a0company<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Before joining Discovery,\u00a0<\/span>Dr Mabunda\u00a0<\/span>acquired extensive<\/span>\u00a0health industry experience<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>both in South Africa and the United Kingdom.\u00a0<\/span>Notable roles during her professional journey include; Assistant Product Development Director at Roche UK<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Head of Wellness at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings, Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company and most recently<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Associate Director in Accenture\u2019s Health business.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Contributing\u00a0<\/span>\u00e0\u00a0<\/span>les\u00a0<\/span>discourse and\u00a0<\/span>progress at the\u00a0<\/span>intersection<\/span>\u00a0of business and health is<\/span>\u00a0a passion for her. To that end, Dr Mabunda sits on the boards of Population Services International (PSI<\/span>),\u00a0<\/span>les\u00a0<\/span>Student Sponsorship Programme (SSP) and Indlela, an organisa<\/span>tion focusing on\u00a0<\/span>the optimal use\u00a0<\/span>of behvioural<\/span>\u00a0insights\u00a0<\/span>\u00e0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>improve<\/span>\u00a0health<\/span>\u00a0outcomes<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Dr Mabunda holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and an MBChB from the University of Cape Town.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
