She is an executive coach, human capital and leadership development advisor\u00a0with regional and global expertise,\u00a0as well as an exceptional track record of optimizing performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She now serves developing country\u00a0Ministries of Health and Ministries of Finance\u00a0globally, in building resilient and sustainably financed\u00a0primary and community\u00a0health systems as\u00a0CEO of the Financing Alliance for Health.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Angela completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine,\u00a0Masters in Health Economics\u00a0and Policy and Fellowship in Public Sector Management and has served as a\u00a0frontline clinician, health administrator, policy maker, academic and consultant.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Angela served\u00a0the MOH Kenya as a District Medical Officer of Health\u00a0(DMOH) and a hospital in charge (MEDSUP) in both Meru and\u00a0Garbatulla, leading ~150 multi-disciplinary team members through coordinating strategic planning, resource mobilization,\u00a0service delivery,\u00a0recruitment, monitoring and capacity building.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She then joined the MOH HQ, where she supported health financing, co-developed national strategies and prepared reports on the country\u2019s health achievements.<\/p>\n
Angela received the Australian Leadership Awards for Africa (2012) and the President Obama\u2019s Mandela Washington Fellowship (2014) in recognition of her exemplary leadership within the civil service and operational track record of excellence in achieving results.
