Greenstar\u2019s latest research paper, \u201cChanges in Contraceptive use and the Method Mix in Pakistan: 1990 \u2013 1991 to 2006 \u2013 2007\u201d, notes the decline of modern contraception use among Pakistani women between 1990 and 2007, emphasizing the growing phenomenon of method discontinuation. At the MOH\u2019s latest meeting to discuss new directions in family planning programming, these findings were presented as evidence to increase the MOH\u2019s involvement in the health area; the Ministry of Population Welfare had previously taken ownership of FP programs in Pakistan.
