At 9:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday, May 25, the Kaiser Family Foundation will hold a briefing to explore the rollout of the U.S. government\u2019s Global Health Initiative (GHI) on the ground, with a particular focus on the recently released GHI country-level strategies. The briefing will examine progress and challenges in translating the GHI in the field and next steps moving forward.<\/p>\n
The briefing will include Lois Quam<\/strong>, Executive Director of the U.S. Global Health Initiative, as well as U.S. field representatives from several of the \u201cGHI-plus\u201d countries, selected to serve as learning laboratories for global health interventions and strategies that could be replicated elsewhere if successful. In addition, Mark Green<\/strong>, Senior Director at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and former Ambassador to Tanzania, and Karl Hofmann<\/strong>, President and CEO of PSI and former Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, will share their perspectives.
