In 2023, there were an estimated 10.8 million new TB cases globally, with 1.25 million deaths. TB remains a leading cause of death among people living with HIV. Viral hepatitis B and C affect an estimated 354 million people and account for nearly 1.5 million deaths worldwide. Yet only a fraction of those affected are aware of their status, highlighting a significant gap in testing and linkage to treatment and care services.
