Dr. Karin Hatzold is a public health physician with over 23 years of experience in designing, managing, implementing and researching public health interventions in sub-Saharan Africa. She has led large-scale service delivery, research and evaluation projects on HIV prevention, care and treatment and has provided high-level technical support for platforms in Southern Africa for the launch and accelerated scale up of Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, HIV Testing, Biomedical HIV prevention, including PrEP and HIV treatment as well as Cervical Cancer Screen and Treat Services.<\/p>\n
After obtaining her Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine London focussing on HIV Epidemiology, Dr. Hatzold was co-investigator on several implementation science studies, including Male Circumcision Devices and Early Infant Male Circumcision, Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV Testing and HIV Self-Testing.<\/p>\n
