{"id":30150,"date":"2019-08-01T01:23:21","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T05:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psi2030.wpengine.com\/?post_type=staff&#038;p=30150"},"modified":"2026-04-22T17:45:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T21:45:18","slug":"malcolm-quigley","status":"publish","type":"staff","link":"https:\/\/www.psi.org\/pt\/staff\/malcolm-quigley\/","title":{"rendered":"Malcolm Quigley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malcolm Quigley iniciou a sua carreira no gabinete do Presidente da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia em Bruxelas, B\u00e9lgica, tendo posteriormente passado para o sector privado, onde trabalhou em estrat\u00e9gias de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o para uma grande empresa multinacional de telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es que operava na Europa, no M\u00e9dio Oriente e em \u00c1frica.<\/p>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a conclus\u00e3o do seu MBA, foi volunt\u00e1rio da VSO na B\u00f3snia e Herzegovina, onde trabalhou com uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o local de regresso de refugiados na sua estrat\u00e9gia de sustentabilidade. Em 2004, regressou \u00e0 Irlanda, onde estabeleceu a VSO na Irlanda e, nos anos seguintes, facilitou a vinda de mais de 400 volunt\u00e1rios irlandeses altamente qualificados para trabalhar com parceiros locais em \u00c1frica e na \u00c1sia em programas de desenvolvimento de capacidades. Malcolm trabalhou em projectos de desenvolvimento na \u00c1frica Austral e Oriental, Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico, resposta p\u00f3s-Tsunami no Sri Lanka e nas Maldivas, programas de paz no Sri Lanka e nas Filipinas.
