Consequently, Sandy led the creation of the Self-Care Trailblazer Group (SCTG), a global coalition dedicated to expanding the safe and effective practice of self-care, and currently holds the role of SCTG Secretariat Director. He also oversees strategic communications and outreach for HIV\/TB programs at PSI. Sandy has over a decade of advocacy and communications experience in the non-profit, public relations agency, and institutional sectors. Prior to joining PSI, he served as communications and knowledge management lead for the USAID-funded health system strengthening project\u202fServices de\u00a0Sant\u00e9\u00a0de\u00a0Qualit\u00e9\u00a0pour\u00a0Ha\u00efti-Nord\u202fin\u202fCap-Haitien, Haiti. Previously, he worked at the advertising agency TBWACorporate in Paris, France, and on advocacy and communications campaigns during his tenure at the global tobacco control network Framework Convention Alliance in Washington, DC.
