This is a high impact approach to expand access to quality family planning services by organizing Fixed Day Static services (FDS)/Family Planning Day/Antral Diwas (spacing day) in health facilities. The FDS service is a collaborative effort wherein trained human resources, equipment, commodities and supplies are made available on a fixed day at a fixed time at a fixed/static place to provide quality family planning services to women of reproductive age (WRA) who reside in urban slums of India.
