The three volumes describe the HCD process, which includes engaging religious leaders, youth leaders and other members in 10 communities and describing insights gained from interactions with the target group and opportunity areas which translated into 10 protoyping ideas; three ideas showed better chances of acceptance and success and were chosen for further live prototyping.  The villages, however, were reduced to 4 as during the process some areas showed little acceptance and openness to discussing birth spacing and sexual reproductive health.  Volume three describes recommendations for further implementation at a larger scale.
