REB

PSI is committed to protecting the rights and welfare of subjects enrolled in our research studies. The Research Ethics Board (REB) is responsible for the ethical and regulatory compliance of research that involves human subjects. As a result, PSI maintains a Federalwide Assurance (FWA) with the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP). Our REB is registered with OHRP and accepts complete submissions for PSI research on a rolling basis.

CDPP

PSI commits to ensuring that personally identifying data will be stored securely, managed responsibly and used legitimately. To aid the organization in fulfilling that commitment, PSI has promulgated an organization-wide consumer data protection policy (CDPP). CDPP applies to all personal identifying consumer information that is collected, stored, or used by or on behalf of any PSI program, marketing, or research activity. The CDPP outlines:

  • PSI’s standards for data collection, storage, use, and sharing, which represent the minimum requirements that must be adopted by network members who collect personal identifying information to be compliant with the CDPP;
  • PSI’s guidelines for implementation and enforcement of the CDPP.
