PSI ambassadors play a big role in the advocacy work we do.
When we bring our ambassadors on journeys to visit PSI’s programs in various countries all around the world, we get the opportunity to meet with diplomats, heads of state, religious and political leaders, and top government official to discuss our work, policies, and how we can continue improving health. They use their stage to give voices to the many people in need, and help us reach a wider audience in order to raise awareness around the health issues people in the developing world face.
Our ambassadors have addressed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the need for increased funding for global health. They have spoken at international gatherings like the International AIDS Conference, The Clinton Global Initiative and The World Economic Forum. And they have used their ability to garner press to give voice to those who are voiceless.
Our mission is powered by people like you joining our community.
