Vice President, Global Fundraising

PSI, Global

As Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), Julia oversees the operations of nearly twenty countries and brings over fifteen years of experience in public health programming to the region.

Most recently, Julia served as the deputy regional director of LAC and the country representative of Trinidad & Tobago before that. Prior to her work with PSI, Julia served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana, an ORISE Fellow for the Center of Disease Control in Trinidad & Tobago and a Population Health & Nutrition Officer for USAID.

Julia holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a focus on International Development and a secondary focus on Health Care Administration. She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University.

When asked she will say her best learning has come from her colleagues and the positions she has had the honor of holding. She holds the LAC Regional Support team, and PSI more broadly, in high esteem and looks forward to progressing the development, enterprise, and public health programming achievements in LAC.

Julia will remain seated in the region, but with close and consistent presence in Washington, DC. When not working, she calls Montana home and balances the snow sports with those warmer sports of the Caribbean.
