Kate leads PSI’s in-house legal functions as its General Counsel, is responsible for global legal and corporate governance matters.  She is an admitted attorney in the state of Florida, the District of Columbia and the U. S. Southern Federal District, and has been a practicing attorney for 23 years.

Prior to joining PSI, Ms. Burnett set up and successfully ran the in-house legal function at BroadReach Healthcare, a global healthcare technology and international development organization, for eight years. Prior to that, she served as the in-house legal and contracts manager at Engel & Völkers, a leading European real-estate franchise group, and supported the company’s successful U.S. expansion into Florida and California.  Prior to that, Ms. Burnett spent 10 years in Florida, focusing on civil practice matters, including corporate commercial, property, insurance, class actions, toxic torts and product liability.  She began her legal career in the international arena providing in-house contracting for large independent power producers in Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Ms. Burnett hails from London and grew up in Bahrain and Hong Kong, but considers herself a global citizen. She’s an avid Springbok fan and loves to keep aligned by practicing yoga.
