Salma Mazrui-Watt is the CEO of KiBeNi Limited, an agri-business company, and an Associate Consultant with the Business Advocacy Fund. She is an organizational development specialist with significant expertise in business leadership, sales and marketing, corporate communications and strategic planning in both the private and public sectors.
Ms. Mazrui-Watt is a member of Kenya’s National Economic and Social Council and the Chairman for Population Services International’s Kenya office. She is also a board director for Kenya Airways, the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife & Women in Law and Development. Until late 2011 Ms. Mazrui-Watt was the Regional Vice President, Partnerships Development and External Relations, for WWF’s East and Southern Africa Regional Program Office (ESARPO). She has also been Vice President of Marketing, Africa Online Holdings Ltd., and CEO of Trans Union Kenya Limited and was the Vice Chair for the East African Credit Bureau Association (EACBA).
Ms. Mazrui-Watt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from George Mason University, Virginia, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi. She also has a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance.
