Martin Schneider is a Managing Partner at Fine Capital Partners, a hedge fund based in New York City. Fine Capital is a domestic equity long short mid-cap value fund. Its investors are exclusively universities and non profit endowments.
Marty is the Founder and former President of Health Pages, a consumer website devoted to providing consumers with background, experience and quality information about health care providers. He is also the Founder and former President of Physician Hospital Alliance, a company that provided out-patient medical services. He is the Board Chair of IDEO.org, Peer Health Exchange and Informed Patient Institute. He is also the Treasurer of the Board of Consumer Reports. Marty is a Partner at The Social Entrepreneurs Fund (TSEF) which takes early stage equity stakes in impact-oriented companies.
He received a BA from Amherst College, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a MSc from The London School of Economics.
