Maureen Erasmus has served as an advisor in the Financial Services sector for more than 35 years across Europe, USA, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Across these markets, she has focused on investment banking, wealth management and private equity. Maureen has extensive functional expertise in corporate strategy, international growth strategies, cross border expansion, organizational effectiveness, risk management, shareholder value driven strategies, acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals.
Maureen has held Managing Director roles at two US investment banks namely Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers as well as being a partner at Bain & Company, A.T. Kearney and Coopers & Lybrand. In 2017, Maureen transitioned full time into a ‘plural’ role and has taken up a number of non-executive roles on publicly listed and privately held companies. Maureen currently sits on the boards of Standard Bank Group, Credit Suisse (U.K.), Mizuho International as well as Vanguard Asset Management (U.K.).
Maureen was born in Zimbabwe but emigrated to the UK in 1989. Over the last decade she has invested and supported a number of philanthropic ventures in Zimbabwe.
