ABOUT COVLEX
Samagra, a USAID-funded, Population Services International (PSI)-led flagship initiative, is addressing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and supporting the uptake of COVID-19 vaccination among the urban poor in 5 cities of India with a plan to scale up to 50 cities over a 4-year period. COVID-19 vaccination remains a core intervention to control the pandemic and an important focus area of Samagra. CoVLEx, as part of Samagra, is providing further impetus to these efforts by sharing good practices, experiences and learnings from 15 cities in Global South.
Ensuring vaccine availability and maintaining global equity in distribution is an important step in ending the current pandemic because no one is safe until everyone is safe. By bringing together public as well as private stakeholders, CoVLEx aims to aid in shaping the discourse on pandemic response through partnerships and learning in the Global South.
City-to-City learning exchange Initiative on COVID-19 vaccination
CoVLEx facilitates sharing and learning on COVID-19 vaccination between five city pods featuring
5 Indian cities along with 10 cities in the Global South (Asia and Africa).
