PSI

John Sauer is senior technical advisor for PSI’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs. Hen provides support to PSI’s efforts, executing market systems development programs. John’s  focus is on breaking down barriers to growth to achieve lasting, higher coverage and increased use of WASH products and services.

John has over 15 years of program implementation, advocacy, and strategy development experience in the WASH sector. Before joining PSI, John worked for Water For People, Water Advocates, and Action Against Hunger, with a recent focus on sanitation as a business in rural and urban contexts. John graduated from Fordham University in 1992 and holds a master’s degree in international and intercultural management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. John currently resides in Washington, D.C.
