Chiwawa Nkhoma is a public health professional with 20 years of experience in Malawi. Prior to joining PSI Malawi, Nkhoma worked in PMTC and Microbicides clinical trials conducted by the Johns Hopkins Research Project. After joining PSI Malawi in 2009, Nkhoma worked in different capacities in program management, implementation and administration of USAID and PEPFAR-funded HIV prevention programs. She is also currently a Chief of Party for EMPOWER, a five year, USAID-funded program.
Nkhoma holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Science in epidemiology from the University of Malawi.
