Suziena Htun has been with PSI Myanmar for 18 years. She manages and oversees the Program Support Division and the Finance & Contracts Division. Before joining, Ms. Htun worked in the private sector and for the United Nations. She has a master’s degree in development studies from the Yangon Institute of Economics, a bachelor’s degree in physics from Yangon University and a diploma in civil engineering from the Government Technical Institute of Yangon. Ms. Htun enjoys traveling around the country and consulting with people.

When Innocent Grant was just 18 years old, he started school to become a doctor. As part of his education, he was sent to his home region in Southern Tanzania to do fieldwork in rural clinics. It was in these remote, under-resourced clinics that Grant says he first became aware of the perils women face in seeking access to safe abortion.
